This all started with a freeform chunk of Larimar my husband cut and polished for me.  Then I wrapped it with sterling and added tons of bright wire for an amazing cuff!  All freeform and funky!

Whew the holidays were wicked fun!  I hope you enjoyed them.  As many of you know, my real job is owning the UPS Store in North Platte.  This keeps me hopping around the holidays.  Besides the fact that I tried to throw in some jewelry boutiques, family fun and New Year's celebrations with friends.  Now back to somewhat normal.  I have decided to pull my jewelry from the GROW Nebraska stores.  After much deliberation, I decided it was too much for me to try and stay on top of my inventory with them.  You can still find my stuff right here online or at Pro Printing & Gifts in North Platte and the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA) gift shop in Kearney.  I am planning to have a pretty big inventory reduction clean out sale in February.  It will be at Trail's End in here Ogallala.  Not only will my jewelry be on sale (Yay!), but we will also be enjoying guormet food samples from Trail's End and enjoy the wonderful company of fellow artist Jorn Olsen.  His photography is phenomenal.  He will be in Ogallala to do some book signings and will only appear at Trail's End!  So join me on the 10th or 11th.  I will post the hours soon:)

I donated this set to the Mid Plains United Way who is having their Annual Casino Night, tonight at the Holiday Inn Express in North Platte.

This magnificent necklace, made using Eastern Repousse techniques, is being donated to the Midwest Heart Connection "Hearts of Hope" Event.  Eastern Repousse is a method of hammering metal to add relief and texture.  I started with a blank piece of sterling silver, drew out my design and started hammering (with finesse of course!).  It takes several, and I do mean several, rounds of hammering from first the front and then the back of the piece to get the metal to move.  After getting the design I wanted, I oxidized then polished the piece.  Lots of work went into this baby.  Hopefully this donation helps the Hearts of Hope mission!  http://www.midwestheartconnection.com/homepage.html

Many of these sold this weekend.  But oh how I love to hammer out the metal earrings. 

Here is my booth in Salida, CO this past weekend.  I am still tweaking it.  I think I will change the light curtains out with the dark ones in back.  Sales were okay, but the quality of artists was fantastic!  I met some wonder wacky Wire Women!  What inspiration!

Sterling wire, gunmetal chain, and oodles of freshwater pearls...what a trendy but classic piece to add to your ensemble!  This particular one is sold, but I may just whip up something similar in taste! 

Here was the bracelet, along with a watch that is sold as well and below is a wire cuff that went!  Looking back pearls were hot that day!
